Where we work in the West End

The West End covers several of the areas we already work street by street. Our round takes in Soho, Mayfair, Covent Garden, Fitzrovia and St James's, and the blocks between them along Oxford Street, Regent Street and Shaftesbury Avenue.

If you know which of those you are in, the area page will be more use than this one. If you are on a boundary, or you have several sites across the district, this is the round that covers all of them on one arrangement.

What makes the West End different to clean

The window is the whole problem, and it is different on every street. A Soho office and a Covent Garden restaurant and a Mayfair showroom are all cleaned out of hours, but their hours are not the same hours. Schedules here are agreed to the hour rather than to the day.

The buildings are old and heavily converted. Narrow stairs, no service lift and floors doing work they were never designed for are normal, which affects what equipment can come in and how long a visit takes.

Shared street doors are the rule. One entrance often serves four businesses or four flats, and the communal stair belongs to everybody and therefore to nobody. We establish in writing what is ours to clean and what belongs to the freeholder before the first visit.

Access, parking and waste

The whole district is inside the Congestion Charge zone: £18 a day since 2 January 2026, Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm and noon to 6pm at weekends. It is inside the ULEZ. Both sit inside your monthly figure.

Large parts are pedestrianised or vehicle-restricted during the day, and Westminster's controls run Monday to Saturday, 8:30am to 6:30pm. Our visits arrive on foot or by a single drop outside controlled hours.

Commercial waste runs to timed collection bands that differ street by street. Bags out at the wrong hour are a fine and a fly-tipping risk, so we work to your bands and confirm them in the checklist.

Services in West End

• Commercial cleaning. Offices, consulting rooms and serviced apartments, cleaned out of hours to a written specification.
• Home cleaning. Regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning, worked to a checklist agreed with you.
• Deep cleaning. Seasonal, and before a house is returned to. Descaling is most of the work in London.
• Post-construction cleaning. Three stages, worked to your contractor's programme. One clean at the end always fails.
• Move-in and move-out. Worked against the check-in report, because that is the document a dispute is decided on.
