Cleaning Services in Covent Garden
Covent Garden is a former market district that never stopped working. The warehouses are flats and offices now, the streets are pedestrianised, and almost nothing about access here works the way it does elsewhere on our patch.
Where we work in Covent Garden
Our round covers the Piazza and the streets around it, Seven Dials and the lanes off Monmouth Street, Floral Street and Long Acre, Endell Street and Neal Street, and the quieter blocks towards Drury Lane.
The residential stock is mostly converted: warehouse and market buildings turned into lofts and apartments, often with exposed brick, timber and iron left deliberately visible. Above the shops there are smaller flats reached by a shared stair from the street.
What makes Covent Garden different to clean
Exposed structure is a finish here, not a defect. Brick, cast iron, reclaimed timber and bare plaster were left visible on purpose and they are all porous or reactive in ways a painted wall is not. Water alone will mark some of them.
The volume outside comes inside. This is one of the busiest pedestrian districts in London and the dirt load on entrance matting, hall floors and the inside face of windows is well above what a residential street a few hundred metres away produces.
Deliveries and refuse run to timed bands on most streets, and the pedestrian zone restricts vehicles for most of the day. That shapes when a visit can happen more than anything inside the flat does.
Access, parking and waste
Covent Garden is inside the Congestion Charge zone: £18 a day since 2 January 2026, Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm and noon to 6pm at weekends. It is inside the ULEZ. Both sit inside your monthly figure.
Much of the area is pedestrianised or vehicle-restricted during the day, and Westminster's controls run Monday to Saturday, 8:30am to 6:30pm. In practice our visits here arrive on foot, early or late.
For commercial work, Westminster operates timed collection bands on most of these streets. Waste put out outside the band is a fine and a fly-tipping risk, so we work to your collection times and confirm them in the checklist.
Services in Covent Garden
- Home cleaning. Regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning, worked to a checklist agreed with you.
- Commercial cleaning. Offices, consulting rooms and serviced apartments, cleaned out of hours to a written specification.
- Deep cleaning. Seasonal, and before a house is returned to. Descaling is most of the work in London.
- Move-in and move-out. Worked against the check-in report, because that is the document a dispute is decided on.
- Post-construction cleaning. Three stages, worked to your contractor's programme. One clean at the end always fails.
